With unseasonably warm weather for a typical February in Northern Michigan, the fish might not be biting but it has been more than comfortable and enjoyable to keep trying! The Northern Pike were biting, as were the pan fish, but not consistent. In many areas the ice is still 15-20 inches thick. Nobody knows what type of weather the next few weeks will bring, but as long as it keeps freezing at night the ice fishing season isn't over! Thank you Ray, Dylan and Jeff !

Northern Pike and Blue Gill are hitting well in the Missaukee County lakes. There are good catches of pan fish and occasional Walleye being reported. Ice is still 14-22 inches thick. Temps are supposed to remain cold for a few weeks for hot ice fishing action! Coyotes are coming into big baits regularly in the early morning hours. We are currently booking for day ice fishing trips for $75 per person. Coyote hunts (over bait) are $150 per person.
